Re- state all reasons in conclusion
Clincher sentence- gives a summation of the above and a “feeling” about the whole essay.
Use transition words, plan reasons in a logical order, make sure you re-state reasons in your conclusion.

Welcome to Tumblr, my excited and engaged class. For the remaining weeks this academic year, you will create a blog and post the following articles on their corresponding dates.
May 24th: About Me
May 26/27th: Narrative story
May 31st: Review
June 3rd: Expository Essay
June 5-9 (depending on the date of your final): Persuasive essay
You will be graded on the following criteria:
1) How well you compose your articles in relation to your individual topics.
2) Your creativity and effort within the blog its self. This is your chance to write something of purpose and meaning to you; treat it as such.
3) Your timely posting of the articles. All of them must be posted by 8 pm of their due dates so that we, me and your peers, are able to read them before class.
4) Your participation during the class. We will be reading examples of your peers and that requires respect and your attention.

Each article is worth 20 points, total 100 points
The overall look of the blog is 50 points
Your comments on your peers blogs and participation in class is 50 points.
